We’re Scott and Kathy, a pair of self-proclaimed “slow nomads,” which is just a fancy way of saying we travel the world at the pace of a Sunday driver in the fast lane. After our kids flew the coop, we figured it was time to trade in our predictable 9-to-5 for a life of wanderlust, misadventures, and trying (and usually failing) to blend in with the locals.

Our mission? To show you that the world is as beautiful as it is big, and that people everywhere are a lot friendlier than the evening news would have you believe. We stay in each place long enough to really soak in the culture (and, sometimes, the rain) and share it all with a dose of humor, a pinch of reality, and a camera that doesn’t always catch our good side.
